The new mini-exhibition in the Museum and Exhibition Center “Tula Antiquities”

September 25 the new mini-exhibition of “Russian headdresses” was opened in the Museum and Exhibition Center “Tula Antiquities”
National clothes is a peculiar book, if we can teach how to read it we can know lots about traditions, culture and history of the nation. And the special place is given to headdresses - the most visible part of every suit.
The new mini-exhibition acquaints visitors with the traditional headdresses of Russian village in the 17th – beginning of the 20th centuries. It tells of how national traditions of Russia reflected, maintained and passed on from one generation to another, not only through firm customs and traditions, but also by people's clothes and, in particular, the right way of wearing the Russian headgear.
The exhibition will work till April 2013.
